Quick question about to fill my loop and was wondering what purpose does the 3pin serve on the pump if the molex is power?

3 pin is for monitoring fan speed in your OS or BIOS and setting an alert or whatever if your pump dies.

Speed control is with a PWM cable, which is a 4 pin cable.
