Driver Issue?

Hello everyone, I have the Razer Deathadder 2013 version and I wanted to ask if anyone knows that I have a driver issue. The problem with the mouse is that sometimes when I move it around it will respond crazily and move around sporadically, on it's own. I'm running on Linux 12.04.something until I get my desktop up and running and I don't want this to affect my desktop as I will be gaming quite a bit. I've checked on Razer's website but unfortunately they do not have Synapse 2.0 for Linux machines.  I can live with the mouse being a bit crazy right now until I get my desktop running, but again I do not want it to affect my gaming experience, so if anyone could tell me if this is just a driver issue or not that would be a big help to me. Otherwise I think that I'll just have to exchange it for another one.
