That is a molex connector, you should be able to connect it to your PSU.

THANK YOU! <3

Directly to the PSU?

This is my PSU:

Yep. That PSU has got several molex cables, I just checked.

Not directly to PSU. Your PSU should have a cable labelled "Peripheral" or something along those lines. Connect that to your PSU and it has some molex heads running off from it, thats where your LED strip plugs into.

I'm sorry.. im such a noob, could you guys show me in anyway.. using some pictures...

Just dont wanna stick it.. ha.. in the wrong hole! xD

Don't worry. The RM850 is a modular power supply, so there should be a set of cables for labeled peripherals or something similar. Plug one of those cables in and it should have some molex connection on the end of the cable (The end that doesn't connect into the PSU).

See wgere it says "Peripheral and Sata"? Find a cable labelled peripheral that should be bundled with all your other psu cables - plug it into one of those 4 slots. Pick any that is free, it doesn't matter. On the opposite end you should have ports that look like this.  Your LED cable strip plugs into that connector.

Don't worry about asking these questions, it's better to be safe than sorry, and the guys at LTT are really forgiving of new builders, trust me. I was a new builder a month and a half ago.

@VenatoS here is a brilliant explanation of how to do it. It's better than my lazy excuse for an explanation.

Hey guys, im PRETTY damn new to modding my case and i'm planning on adding an LED strip.

Will this: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODAwWDgwMA==/z/nxcAAMXQVERSxVJB/$_57.JPG

Fit anywhere into any motherboard / psu slot? O.o

PLEASE HELP!

Adding LED's isn't modding, as you're not changing the structural integrity of your case in any way.

Give him the benefit of the doubt, he was just asking a question

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it
