How does Raptr for AMD work?

For all of you guys that have AMD cards that run the Raptr program and record game footage, how is it? Would you say it is as good as what NVIDIA has in shadowplay? I'm asking because I'm thinking of switching over from my GTX 770 for the OpenCL performance, however I cannot afford to lose a valuable feature such as shadowplay.

I've seen alot of people here on the forums that had problems with it. It caused all kinds of shenanigans, weird freezing, unresponsiveness, etc. And they didn't even use the program itself, it was just running in the background.

Probably some drivers issues, on my 290 it works flawlessly

It is shadowplay. On AMD cards.
