Arc mini/midi r2 I reckon, both have fan controllers and will support a h100 in the roof easily, as well as being full of dust filters.

Sorry, hope I'm not hijacking the thread, but would you recommend Midi R2 over a Carbide 500R White (has an additional dust filter)? I'm talking strictly performance and cooling options, NOT looks

yes, I would get an arc midi over a 500r. The arc midi is smaller, has better support for water cooling, has more easily remove able dust filters and has dust filters over every intake, front bottom and even on the top. It also has a window. Just because the 500r has side fan mounts, doesn't mean that it is better, as it can disrupt air flow. Also, the arc mini can support a top mounted 360mm radiator, and the arc midi can with a little bit of modding (drilling 4 holes in the correct place)

One last question, just so I can feel 100% good about ordering an Arc Midi R2 for my system: with the case being smaller, it doesn't cause problems with having enough space to mount large components, right? I want to mount a Sapphire Radeon R9 290 OC Tri-X 4GB DDR5 512-bit, and a Hyper 212 EVO cooler for the processor. Also, in the future, I'd like to keep my options open regarding mounting 2 graphics cards in crossfire, or mounting even bigger processor coolers. Are there any concerns regarding that?

the arc midi has good clearance for air coolers, check their website as it'll give maximum air cooler heights, but a 212 evo will easily fit. Also, the hard drive cage is removable, so a tri-x will fit no problem. It should be able to fit another, so long as you don't go into the bottom slot on the mobo I believe.

Great, so I think I'm good with a Gigabyte Z97 Gaming 5 mobo. Thank you so much, you've been incredibly helpful and now I'm 100% confident in my picks. Cheers mate!
