It's just glue holding the metal onto the plastic so I used  a knife to get it off. Used krazy glue to glue 4 plastic washers onto the drive tray for spacing so it lines up with the case. after placing glue on the other side of the washers I closed the tray and positioned the metal piece onto it and let it dry while taking caution not to glue the tray shut. im going to put something behind it so its easier to press.
