I would be careful with reseller statements about compatibility... they are not always correct or some customer support guy is an idiot (not all of them are).

 

When in doubt, double check with the manufacturer.

 

Fortunately EKWB offers a cooling configurator for checking which cooling block is definitely working for your card and their online shop is listing compatibility.
