When i play video on my computer, the voume studders. I am wondering if this one part of the reason. the lack of memory? Also sometimes the video card studderes or stuck on a frame for 1 sec. like a break in the screen. should i upgrade for 16GB of memory. This is DDR3

I used to have something similar when I played games, watched movies and listened to music(on my old computer), and it gradually started to get worse over 3 months or so.

What happened was, every 5 seconds or so it would pause for a few frames (audio did as well) and then resume back to normal.

The problem wasn't noticeable when web browsing or anything, just multimedia stuff.

When I wiped it and put windows 8 on it, it fixed it.

I didn't really try very hard to address the problem itself since I was going to put a new OS on it anyways.

So that's all I know on how to fix it.

    CPU: 3930k  @ stock                                  RAM: 32GB RipjawsZ @ 2133Mhz       Cooling: Custom Loop
MOBO: AsRock x79 Extreme9                      SSD: 240GB Vertex 3 (OS)                     Case: HAF XB                     LG 34um95 + Ergotron MX Arm Mount - Dual Review
GPUs: Gigabyte GTX 670 SLI                     HDD: 1TB WD Black                                PSU: Corsair AX 860                               Beyerdynamic - Custom One Pro Review
