I have a Tp link tl-wr741nd as router/wifi spot...And i wanted to know if there is way to put some sort of connection limit (how many people can connect to it). Also which one i should use to connect to since there are 2 interfaces (virtual and physical) and both have the option to set password...So i dont know which one i need to use when i connect while i use wi fi....Sorry but i dont know anything about routers... Thanks

Idk what you're asking in the second half, but typically more than it would ever matter.

Check the routers firmware, it will usually state or you can figure it out since max connected clients is a variable of choice (IIRC my router is 50)

It should allow you to set a client limit there.

Error: 410

You have to change the DHCP scoop/range, it's usually something like 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.0.100 which allows 100 connections, change it to 192.168.0.50 for 50 and so forth.

Sorry if im dumb, but where i can find that? Is this one on first screen or the "max associated clients" in second?

In the 1st pic: "maximum DHCP users", it's currently on 50.

Oh and the other question, physical is the Wi-Fi password and virtual is the password to access the router page (usually admin admin by default)

So i must change from 50 to what number i want? like 10 if i want only 10 people be able to connect to it?
