1. Budget & Location

Hello everyone I have a build plan that I would like reviewed before I go ordering parts I have a budget of $1,250 and I am located in Australia

2. Aim

My aim is simple I want to play games and do some school work (as little as humanly possible) games that I want to play include DayZ (a buggy mess but still my favourite game ever) BattleField 4, BattleField Hardline (Beta at the moment but I plan to buy it when it's released) Minecraft with Mods and such (because why not) Crysis 3, Far Cry 3 and 4 (again when it's released) The Forest and Rust.

So I hope that helps

3. Monitors

I plan to run a twin monitor set up with no plans to upgrade I already have one but the second one is not urgent

4. Peripherals

I already have a keyboard and mouse and one monitor (like I said the second one isn't urgent) and I do need an OS but that's included in my parts list

5. Why are you upgrading?

My computer is super ancient (10 years old) and I feel it's time to move onto something a bit newer and something with a bit more oomph

This is the list of parts I've chosen along with links and prices in $AUD tell me what you guys thing all feedback is appreciated I will however ignore anyone telling me to change the case

You don't need 7850K, go with 760k and use the extra money for 270x/760

And you don't need 650W PSU, especially 80+ Gold in this configuration, that's way overkill, go with something like 500-550 80+ Bronze, unless you're going to CF, but you CPU would be a huge bottleneck in CF either way...

And if it's cheaper, go with 1600Mhz RAM

Definitely go with a CPU without onboard graphics since you're going to be using a dedicated GPU.  The FX series would be great.

Going with a gold PSU isn't bad.  It's more efficient than bronze and will deliver cleaner more consistent power.  That's worth the money if you have it.

I would swap the SSD for a Samsung EVO, but that's me.

I'm not going to spend an extra $50 on a 270x when I can achieve the same performance from a 270 with a mild overclock, the memory 1866mhz is the sweet spot when it comes to ram I've been told as for the PSU I will crossfire when I get the money and the CPU won't bottleneck it's been tested trust me I've done my research hours and hours of research

The case I choose is just a random one so you can change it to whatever you like, also it's only 2$ more than your budget isnt it :P but you got a whooping 770 :3 The CPU is better and high speed RAM isnt really matter for gaming.

Also, you wont be able to game with 2 monitors, since both AMD and Nvidia dont support 2 monitors, only 3 monitors. So you probably only want to get a 2nd one if you plan to use it for multitasking and work, not for gaming.

The second monitor is not for gaming I'll give an example when I play DayZ with friends I want a map open on the second screen so I don't make my friends run to Electro from Cherno when we were both already in Cherno the 770 I'm debating on and the ram it's the sweet spot according to a bunch of people I've asked
