Overclocking CPU Fan

Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

so i dont need to buy the cpu cooler if the max turbo clock is 4.1? or can i go past 4.1?

Is turbo clock the same as overclocking?

Turbo clock is essentially the CPU overclocking itself. You don't manually set it. The turbo clock is how much the CPU will speed up when it's needed, so it will be fine with the stock cooler.

Overclocking without an aftermarket cooler would be a bad idea.

What is the best CPU Cooler Fan for $20 for my setup?

I have the intention to overclock the CPU.

I think its maximum turbo is 4.1 ghz... so i would want to get it to about that point

It will be able to reach its turbo clock with the stock cooler, it will do it itself. You should be able to get a decent overclock with the 212 Evo
