I set up a few mirrored partitions instead of using raid however every time there is a power loss or my computer crashes, they resynchronise it my hard drives become unusable. Any ideas if I can turn that off or what I should do?

This is what it looks like. Notice the disk 1 and disk 2 are 100%.

They are all on the Intel controller. The only thing running on the asmedia one is the DVD drive. Every time my computer gets a blue screen or power goes out, this happens. It takes more than 3-4 hours for this to  complete.
