this is my first pc build I am focused on getting parts that can easily be upgraded, and high quality parts for reliability and lifetime.

 

CPU - Intel Core i5 4570

 

RAM - 8GB 1866Mhz Corsair Vengeance pro series(2x4)

 

HDD - 1TB caviar blue

 

PSU - EVGA 650w fully modular 80+ gold

 

CPU Cooler - Be quiet Dark Rock 3 Pro

 

Motherboard - Gigabyte B85-HD3 Z87 Express ATX

 

OS - Windows 8 standard

 

Case - Corsair Graphite 230t

 

DVD - Samsung 24x internal drive

 

For now I do not have a graphics card but that would be an upgrade, is this a well balanced machine, any suggestions for alternatives.

Do you already have a GPU? If you are going to game you need a powerful one. If it's or work, it's a good build.

get a ssd you will love it.

get the 4430 its cheaper and about the same preformace.

well I went on PC part picker and made up a list managed to fit a GPU in the budget this time what do you guys think

 

CPU - Intel Pentium G3220 3.0Ghz dual core

 

CPU Cooler - Thermalright HR-02

 

Motherboard - ASRock H87 Pro4 ATX

 

Memory - Corsair vengeance 8gb 1600Mhz (2x8)

 

Storage - WD 1tb 7200rpm
