I was in the middle of installing the AI Suite and my PC crashed. Now it won't install at all and says that a setup is already running. I've tried using registry cleaners and even deleted the folders that were created in the programs folder to no luck. I found a AI suite cleaner tool which I've used which also didn't help. Is the only thing left to do format my computer?

Kill AI Suite with fire O.o

Try Safe Mode. And use CCleaner ffs.

lol I used CCleaner but haven't tried it with safe mode, how do we go in to safe mode with windows 8.1? it's not the same as win 7 is it

Maybe a better question is, the reason I want AI suite is to control fan speeds, is ther a better software to use for this?

type msconfig and have it boot to safe. Otherwise its Super+F8 during boot if I am not mistaken.

AI suite is fucking great . I LOVE it.  B) (Not being sarcastic here)

What's wrong with you?! O.o

Frost upon these cigarettes.... lipstick on the window pane...

I do as well. Gave me a perfectly fine 4.6GHz overclock in a matter of a couple minutes, which I was then able to tweak (booted up, in AI Suite mind you) to a 5GHz, and now 4.8GHz (it's been hot here) overclock easily, going to the bios once. As much as I don't mind the bios at all, I like to have music and such while I mess with settings :)

edit: AND I can control my fans, and turn it down to silent/power saver mode for when I'm just browsing, with a click. I know there are other solutions for this, but we prefer AI Suite  B)

I really wish that we'd just make organic hardware already, that grows and adapts to the demands it needs to meet. That way, grannies' computers can be floppy sacks of organicness and the 12 year old Minecrafters will look like the guys that only do bicep curls, and the nerdy programmers will finally have justice, with their body-builder rigs that skipped leg day.
