I recently got a kingston hyper x 3k ssd and installed windows on it.

However there seem to be a lot of strange things happening.

The occasional BSOD, Windows slowdown or freeze and game crashes.Which didnt happen when it windows was on my HDD.

I tried to download firmware updates with no luck, the firmware is not on kingstons site and there tools just say "downloading Firmware", I have left it to run for more than 3 hours and nothing changed.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks OBieLegend.

Yes it was a fresh install of windows 7 home premium 64bit, and my drivers are all up to date.

You could try re-installing windows again then attempting to install the kingston firmware again.

Just an average guy with a dream that one day he will own a custom watercooling loop.
