Hi, i recently bought a new system. The system is cpu and gpu water cooled, I put it all together and booted it and found i may have to reseat my card. I did this and put it back together. It booted and I used it for about 30 mins before or i looked at my temps and once again my idle temps where crazy (67 C) My ambient is rather high in aus but not that bad.

I decided to run Kombuster and as soon as I opened it my card seemed to shut down. Only the card. I couldn't get a signal from my monitor. it seemed the rest was running fine it was still on.

I don't know what to do im terrible at this. Please help

Thanks

Did you buy it from a retail outlet or an online retailer? If so they should offer a warranty. You shouldn't have to be reseating water blocks on a new system or anything like that.

One thing to check before you send it is that the fans on the radiators are spinning and that air is passing through properly, flow should not be obstructed.

Apart from the fans not running or the pump not being plugged in. I would contact the manufacturer.

wow :o 67 is pretty crazy for a watercooled 670, mine idles at 27 and I've never seen them go above 50c. Even tho your ambient may be higher it shouldn't be that high at idle, even air cooled cards don't sit at that on idle.

Did you do the watercooling loop yourself or was it from the factory watercooled?

Make sure you clean off the thermal paste and apply something new, also don't put too much, it may not be contacting properly.

Is there a steady flow in your loop?

Everything seems to be fine :/ I have already drained this the first time and I dread doing it again.

Now what is happening is i boot the pc and it loads into windows. Some times i get to the desktop before the monitor goes black and the pc seems to reboot. then it just stays black with "no signal" on my monitor...

its a custom loop that I have done.. i reseated the gpu already once because the load temps where like 100 when idle was 35 but not its just all crazy
