Hi to all members. New to the forums here. I am in the market for a 1440p monitor. The samsung S27B970D is priced at 700 CAD where I live. Is that worth getting at that price or should I look at other brands? Is that monitor as good as something from Asus PA series? I would mainly be using it for gaming and some photo editing. Thanks for help.

If you'll mostly use it for gaming, you should consider a 120hz monitor. Asus just released a 1440p 120hz gsync monitor, just get that one if you have an nVidia card ;)

EDIT: Asus PG278Q
