hi

my friend has an i5 4570 and wants to run a r9 290 with that. would there be any bottleneck and can you overclock the cpu a bit?

that CPU can run 290x in CF without a problem

Great CPU but buy a K if you want to OC.

will it work with an r9 290?

I also have a question, what about a i5-3470 with a R9 290 Tri-x from sapphire?

Case: Carbide 300R

CPU: i5 4690K @ 3.90GHz

RAM: 8GB DDR3

Mobo: MSI Z97-G45 Gaming

GPU: R9 290 Tri-X
