Silverstone really likes there PSU's to be 140mm long. Probably your best option. I don't know what the cables for their new Strider Gold series look like, but they do make sleeved cable kits, including a very nice short cable kit for SFF cases like the Prodigy.

I have a mini-itx prodigy, and I am looking for a good compact, light power supply that will make it easier to work in. Needs to be at least 750 watts.

 

Dream psu:

 

-compact

 

-at least gold rated (preferably platinum if possible)

 

-cables don't look like garbage

 

-at least semi-modular

CORSAIR RM750 GOLD and FULLY MODULAR

cheap but reliable.

The RM Series are not compact at all, although they are good power supplys.

System: 5930K, MSI X99 SLI PLUS, GTX 780Ti (SLI),  840 EVO, Fractal R4 (Full Custom Loop)  (IP)

Media Server/Perm Folder: i3 4130, CX500, 4 X WD Red 1TB, 60GB Adata SSD for boot, Node 304, ASrock Z87-E ITX, 8GB Kingston Value Ram

You what? RM Series is overpriced and unimpressive. Especially the 750/850W units, with their crappy Ltec capacitors, and since they are worse than and more expensive than the EVGA Supernova G2 750/850W units.
