Help, need to change pci latency timer

AFellowGamer

So in by bios, I dont have a setting to change the pci latency timer, so is there another way to do it? I need to change it because I keep getting "Driver stopped responding and recovered" whenever I play Planetside 2. Thanks

Nice, you didn't even list specs or anything.

A+ tech support ticket right here.

As far as i know, you cannot change it in the OS, so you'll have to dig more in the bios.

As mythicalbeast said, why are you trying to change the PCI latency, do you even have any PCI slots on your motherboard? They're often used for sound cards and... stuff.

PCI isn't a PCI-E

This isn't your PCI which is the problem. I can say with a 98% accuracy that it's your driver. I have had the EXACT same problem.

Sorry, I wasnt really sure if you needed the specs as I assumed it to be a universal problem.

Specs are:

Asus P8Z77 WS

GTX 670 graphics card (cant remember the brand, but I Think it was Galaxy)

i7 3770k

Oh right ops about PCI being = to PCI E

I've tried going back to a couple of older drivers, about 4 or 5 of them, it really only lowers the frequency of this occuring

When you say uninstall do you mean remove it then put it back in?
