I think they all have to b the same res. I have to turn my 144hz monitor down to 60hz when i want to do surround so you have to make the 2560x1080 run at 1920x1080, however I am not totally sure if the horizontal res matters.

I've seen a video of the dell u2913wm being used with two 16:9 monitors to play BF4, I'm not sure if that was nvidia surround or AMD Eyefinity.
