PS3 Controller / Mobile Gaming

I am intrested in moding a controller to fit either side of my galaxy note so that i can play games on it in comfort but i have some questions

A. Rumble packs if i just out right remove them will that screw anything up? Should i replace them with similar resistance resistors?

B. The D-Pad and the O [ ] ^  x buttons could i replace the membrane with some micro switches?

Any help would be great im looking into game streaming also so if i get it working ill be sure to post that too.

You can disable the rumble functionality at a software level on the PS3, so there must be some sort of code that can fix this.

 

As for the button replacements, I'm not sure, but it'd be awesome if you could. Sounds a little unlikely though, unfortunately.

I don't actualy own a ps3 so disabling it in that way may be an issue TBH im probably better off using the analog sticks and plastic buttons with an arduino :P
