No signal help plz

Ok i have a gtx 670 and having a problem with the Hdmi connection ONLY. The other connection give me a display.

I tried

different monitor

Different hdmi cable

Dvi and vga working on both monitor

Any help plz and thanks for you time

Try plugging in one monitor on DVI/VGA and plug another with HDMI and see if it shows up in windows at all. Also make sure you click the detect button under screen resolution.

The GTX 670 does seem to have issues with it's HDMI out, mine needs to be unplugged and plugged back in every time I restart my PC. I've also found a thread on another forum talking about HDMI detection problems: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1696017 but they didn't have any luck in finding a reason for it. I haven't found anything about your problem though, Have you tried plugging in the HDMI after you start up the PC?

 

Of course there is always the option of just not using the HDMI out because DVI is easily converted to HDMI.

What drivers are you using? and have you tried updating them?

Im using the latest whql drivers from nvidia done a clean install still no fix :(

Anyway you could test the card in another system?

My friend gave me a dvi to hdmi cable to test and when using it, hdmi (graphic card) and dvi (monitor) i get a display but the colours incorrect.

Why not use the cable the other way round? or better yet just a DVI-DVI cable? If you are Determined to get HDMI working, I guess you'll have to send it back.

Im using the wire the other way round i just wanted to know if it was hardware problem not software
