CPU trade for GPU

I'm selling my i7 3770k and i got an offer for a trade of a xfx R9 290a enfc gpu, and was wondering if its a good trade. I'm getting some money together for a 4770k. I didn't know where to put this thread so i put it here!

Well you'll have to get a new mobo either way so you might as well go with a 4790k, unless you can get a good deal on a used one.

Motherboard or processor. My point was if you're buying new I'd go with a 4790k and a z97 board over a 4770k and a z87 board.

The thing is i'm not going to be using the gpu. I probably should have said that, but do you think i will get some $$$ from the gpu or is it not worth it?
