Mic Volume Resetting

Hey! In the last few weeks the mic on my g930s likes to reset its volume, in the sound preferences, down to 20 (out of 100) Every time i turn my computer off or restart it it goes down to 20. i constantly have to go put it back up to the volume i want. I have no clue why it started doing this and i have no clue how to keep it and the volume i want, does anyone have any clue why it is doing this and how to fix it?

If windows thinks it is a "new device" every time it loads, it will basically reinstall the drivers and have default settings loaded up. Can you try leaving the headset plugged into a different USB port?

If it helps, cs go and dota 2 randomly alter your mic volume as well when you launch them in the config files
