Edit: Do you have a specific card and case in mind? There may be some instances where things in the case could interfere with a longer card. (But very unlikely)

Well, technically yes and no. What type of case are you wanting? ATX Home theatre cases won't accept it, but ATX micro towers and bigger are more likely to.
