I'm looking to get a decent PC for modded minecraft with a budget of around 600-1000 dollars. If someone could tell me some good parts that I could get that would be around my budget that would be great. I'm looking for...

- 8 or 16 gb RAM

- a nice processor with 2.5 - 3.5 gHz

And the rest doesn't really matter to me...

I know this is a tiny bit over budget but this build will run heavily modded Minecraft at max settings at very high FPS and will give you great performance for nearly any task you can throw at it.

My Current Build:

Intel i5 3570K @ 4.4GHz 1.11V, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, Asrock Z77 Extreme4, Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz, Samsung 840 EVO 250GB, Asus GTX 760 DCII Overclocked, Corsair CX600M

Pretty freaking overkill for minecraft unless you are playing 4k with extreme shader mods. That overclockable celeron and a 750ti should be perfectly fine for minecraft 1080p 60fps

i7 2600 | HD 6870 | 8GB Memory | 120GB Samsung 840 EVO | 500W PSU | Fractal Define R4

I have a lot of upgrade plans, and no money  :)

Ya but if in the future he wants to play more demanding games he won't have to worry about upgrading.
