This is my second time setting up a Hackintosh, my previous install drive passed away last night.

Issue: When loading from the bootable disk (USB) under flags -v cpus=1 npci=0x2000 graphicsenabler=no my display goes black and disconnects

I've been following Linus's guide (or rather Slick's) to every detail.

System Specs:

Ga-X79-up4

i7 4930k

MSI GTX 780 reference card

16GB Gskill

Mavericks 10.9.3 install

Try using the -graphicsenabler yes option at the bootloader.

it is needed for 90% of Nvidia gpus and a few AMD ones. i had to have mine on for my 8800GTS and 8200M G

I didn't run it the first time around, and in the guide it's set to no, but I'll give it a shot.

I have the same motherboard/gpu and had the exact same problem. Try reverting back to the f5 bios.
