Thoughts on PC Build?

Hi,

 

I'm planning to build my first PC in the coming 2-3 weeks (if budget goes to plan). DOes anyone have any thoughts on what I could change in it? I am going for the $1200-1300 price range.

Why 16GB of ram? Also it's really handy if you use PCpartpicker for your parts list.

I want to use it for rendering video aswell and 3d work. http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/p/7rTTzy I use docs cause PCPartPicker doesnt have updated prices from other stores

I'd suggest planning a bit later. ~2-3 days at most before you buy. Parts and prices change frequently so any parts list you come up with now will likely be obsolete by the time you're ready to buy.
