I'm looking at SSD's and i found a refurbished one that is almost half the price. I know linus' rig has refurbished SSD's and im  getting them from newegg so if that means anything to you. thanks.

What kind of warranty would you get? If it's what you would get normally i would buy it.

its 30 day and the normal one is only 60 day so i dont think the extra 30 days would bother me and its a cache ssd so its not big and its cheap. $45 instead of $80

i would contact corsair support directly and ask them. Newegg gives 30days, but corsair could have a different deal with their warranty. And if not 30days of warranty is kinda pointless

okay thanks. :)

its a 3 year warrenty and if it is a discontinued series they will replace it with a equal size ssd.

Refurb stuff is awesome! It basically is products that are either returned or broken, fixed, and then TESTED to make sure they work 100% And you pay less.

15" MBP TB

AMD 5800X | Gigabyte Aorus Master | EVGA 2060 KO Ultra | Define 7 || Blade Server: Intel 3570k | GD65 | Corsair C70 | 13TB

I agree refurbished stuff can usually be pretty decent, with SSD/HDD however I'd be weary.  Sure, the drive could have been just sent in for user error, bad firmware, but if there was an intermittent failure, the re-certification might not catch it and you could end up with unstable storage and that in my opinion is not worth saving a few bucks on.
