Yesterday I did an upgrade for my brother.

He bought a gigabyte 750ti, an i5 3340 and a crucial m500 ssd, he has a z77-ds3h board.

Here's the weird part, when I try to boot with the graphics card plugged in, it wont leave the bios screen, it simply sits there. Once the card is removed and I run offthe integrated graphics, everything runs fine.
I assumed the card was faulty but just to be sure before I sent for a replacment, I swopped it with my own card in my own rig to check, it works flawlessly.

I've double-checked things like the wattage, is the lane pci-e 3 and a few other things but I'm running out of ideas.

Has anyone here had any problems like this before? any ideas?
