I currently have a fx 4100 OC'd and a r9 280x dual x, i believe i am experiencing a bottleneck, not so bad on sone games like FC3 but pretty bad on BF4. If i upgraded my cpu to a 6300 and OC'd it, would that get rid of most the bottleneck? I have a gigabyte ga 78lmt and a hyper 212 evo.

I recently upgraded from a 6300 processor to a 9590 because I was experiencing a bottleneck in bf4, so your going to need at least a 8350 or any amd 8 core processor if you want to be safe for the future.

Gaming rig- Cpu- Amd 9590, 16gbs of G Skill Ram, Gpu- GTX 760 windforce 3 edition 2gb. A Thermaltake water 2.0 water cooler for my cpu. Keyboard- Thermaltake Posieden , Case- 750D, Mobo Asus 990fx R2.0. 24 inch Dell LED monitor
