Hello all,

My rig;

AMD Phenom ii x6 1055t 2.8GHz CPU

MSI GTX760 GPU

ASUS M4AA87TD/USB3 MB

And the tricky part, Corsair 1333MHz 4GB DDR3 + Kingston 1333MHz 2GB DDR3 RAM Total 6GB

My question is, when i look at CPU-Z it shows my rams working at 600something MHZ but single channel. Will this configuration affects my overall performance? If so why and how much?

Thanks.

Do they have the same latency?

Probably. Im not at home right now sorry for this answer.

Go check. If no i think you can adjust it the bios and If Yes I think the stick isnt properly placed or the mobo doesnt recognize it

I put sticks into different colors i think this is the reason why its single channel. When i put them in same color slots i get BSOD. I dont care if its single or dual channel. All I just want to know is if it affects my performance.

for example I get same fps at battlefield 4 even if i play at ultra or medium(minimum 45fps) is this because of my rams

for the first question you ask: everything is same except memory size(4gb/2gb) and brand(corsair/kingston)

Put them in the same color and go check it in the bios if your pc recognized it.

As for the FPS who can lower some RAM intensive setting to compensate the loss of the 2GB ram or so
