Did you build your old pc or did you buy a manufactured one?

If it's manufactured you'll have to get a better power supply because most manufactured computers come with exactly the amount of power needed for the original components, and if you upgrade it might not be sufficient, but check how many watts you have right now.

Build: GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 780 CPU: Intel i5 4690 MoBo: AsRock Fatal1ty H97 Killer RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB PSU: Seasonic 550W 80+ Gold Case: Corsair Obsidian 500R

Also you should get a motherboard with an LGA1150 socket so you can get the latest processors, so i think you should sell that one and see if you can get any money for it.

it is a manufacatured one with 575 watts

Oh, 575 watts is enough for a ~$2000 build with GTX780 so you should be good!
