hi there ! this is my first time posting in a forum so i apologize if i make a mistake here.

now onto the pc ,i am going to build a new gaming pc specifically to play bf4 at 60 fps utra settings and do some programming as well i have been a console gamer for years and now i want to switch things up.

1. Budget & Location

my budget is 1500 $ i cant spend more than that  and i live in pakistan so in rupees its about 150000 rupees !!

2. Aim

the aim is to play bf4 at 60 fps or more in ultra settings and some light programming  as well im learning c++ at the moment

3. Monitors

i want to use only one monitor i dont like the multi montor setups and i am not gonna use multiple monitors int the future also dont plan on using 4k monitors

4. Peripherals

i already have a kb/m so i am not gonna need those ,os will mot be an issue where i am gonna build my pc its free there , ill be using windows 8.1 pro i am not going to crossfire or sli now but i would like to have an option in the future if i choose to case could any but local cases are made here which are cheap and have really good quality so its not included here and amd chips are not available here so thats out of my reach.

5. Why are you upgrading?

i am upgrading because the current system i use is obsolete its an old p4 running xp and it cant run bf4 !!!

i cant list all the parts here so i am going to give a link to the shop web site where i will be getting the components

http://www.iamextreme.net/

the currency is pkr (pak rupee) u can convert it and get an idea of what the best parts are  for the money

here are the parts i choosed for my build

1. i5 4670k

2.seagate 1tb hard disk

3.corsair vengence 8gb ram

Go with a good air cooler instead or a custom Loop AiO water coolers are horrible and a good Air cooler will perform just as well for half the cost

current build and total cost   http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/150083-thrift-shop-build/

GTX780, msi z87-g45, corsair cx600m.

Also, Cooler Master Hyper 212 is just as good as a Corsair H80i but for a third of the cost.

An H100i (/any 240mm+ rad) will outperform air, so AiOs aren't all terrible.

PSU Tier List | CoC

AIO's aren't horrible. It comes down to personal preference. CPU air coolers are quieter and have less moving parts but an AIO is pretty quiet too if you replace the stock fans.

The Noctua NH-D15 performs as good as a H100i, only (240mm >) rads better than the H100i like the NZXT X60/X61, Cooler Master Nepton 280L and Swiftech H320 are better.

Get a 4690k, and pretty much any Z97 mono will do, if it matches your needs. Get at least 500-600w for most single GPU solutions. Get the best GPU you can with the rest of your budget. Don't be afraid to go Nvidia or AMD, just look up benchmarks and get the best performing GPU in your budget.

Build: CPU: Intel Core i5 4690k | CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo | Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 | RAM: 8GB G-Skill Ares 1600Mhz CL9 | Storage: 120GB Samsung 840 Evo + WD Blue 1TB 64MB Cache + Seagate Barracuda 2TB 64MB Cache | GPU: MSI GTX 960 | Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer | Power Supply: EVGA 600B Non-Modular |

Bench marks aren't always the best look up you planned CPU/GPU combo you are going to run and see if it performs the way you want it too

cant go wrong with the motherboard get an asus board that fits your budget after all of the other things, you want to pour most of your money into your gpu as this is what will give you the most performance in your gaming and with what you have got go for 800w semi or full modular it makes life easier when you build it to keep everything tidy. I did notice you have not looked into a case to put everything in, but you will have to tell us what kind of style size ect. you want in a  case
