RAM overclock problems

So I found this problem when overclocking my CPU a little further by increasing the base clock and when my RAM speed gets passed 1888 (Not 1866) windows wont even start and it says 'Missing Kernal, or files missing in Kernal' Before I was able to overclock to 2133 just fine no problems. Should I reinstall windows or might there be something wrong with my motherboard?
