At that price, build a PC or buy something used... Hard to get anything on less than $600.

I'd go with the Lenovo G510. Intel 4600 graphics work pretty well for games it you aren't too worried about high graphics settings and it fits into your budget very well at just over $500. Having recently purchased a G500 for myself I can assure you that Lenovo makes pretty good budget machines.

Core i5 4200m

integrated intel HD 4600 graphics

500GB 5400rpm HDD

4GB ram

Or if you want a slightly better model with a touchscreen:

Core i5 4200m

integrated intel HD 4600 graphics

1TB 5400rpm HDD

6GB ram

http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-IdeaPad-15-6-Inch-Touchscreen-59406579/dp/B00IO69GVQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1403330122&sr=1-1&keywords=lenovo+g510

I've built 3 PC's, but none for myself... In fact, I'm using an iMac that my dad bought for me as my desktop. Awkward...

Please don't say "SSD drive." By doing so, you are literally saying "Solid State Drive Drive" and causing my brain cells to commit suicide. The same applies to HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express).

Intel graphics are good for new games at medium to low settings and older games at medium to high. At the budget you specified intel graphics are your best bet unless you want to hunt for a used or refurbished laptop. If you increase your budget to at least $700 then you can start looking at dedicated graphics.

I wouldn't really consider AC4: Black Flag to be mid-range gaming. I doubt you'll find anything within a $400-600 budget to play that adequately. LoL is a different story, as long as you got a laptop with some decent Integrated Graphics, you'd be fine.

Well, what resolution and framerate are you talking about to get it to work on a 550 Ti on ultra? lol

Regardless, your budget means you're probably going to be on integrated graphics, so we're not really talking playable here:

Well, it'll be better than integrated graphics, that's true. If you can drop the resolution to its lowest and use all the lowest graphical settings, you might be able to get 20-30 fps on AC4. http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-630M.63761.0.html

I think I'd still recommend using your laptop for LoL only and just play AC4 on your desktop.
