Internet speed problem!

Hi.

When i test my internet speed with my phone everything is right,but with

computer i get half of what it should be. Week ago when i tested ,there wasn't any problem.

Do someone have any idea how to fix it?

restart your modem. Works magic, Last week i was getting 3MBps when I pay for 30, restarted it and apparently my ISP upgraded the infrastructure and doubled my speeds.

Sometimes it could be to do with a loose connection - make sure everything is securely placed. If that doesn't do anything as well as the comment above, it may be possible you have a faulty ethernet port. This happened to me, however it can be easily fixed by using a third party pci card.

Try forgetting the network in windows and if the router has a clients list that saves them even after the device is disconnected remove the device from the list too.

As well as the questions above have you looked to make sure its not your connection wired or wireless to your gateway ( router). You can do this by opening a command prompt in windows as the administrators and running the following: 

 

ipconfig

 

Look for the gateway IP address ( This is the IP of your router) 

 

Then do --> ping 192.168.0.1 ( or what ever the IP address is) 

 

Then paste the results here as a check
