I'm getting this error, but on windows 8 instead of 7. I would have just gone through there, but the actual solution was past a broken link. In addition to what's described there, I can't use ctrl-alt-del, but I can launch task manager by right clicking the taskbar. Once that's done, the "task manager" button stays floating on the screen. Inside task manager, I can't click out of the programs tab and all the hardware monitors are frozen with CPU usage at a flat 0 across all programs. I can click on a program and select it, but I can't click "end task."

This problem has persisted across a full driver update, an OS reinstall followed by another full driver update, and a switch to a new SSD. It started concurrently with my overclocking problems, detailed in another thread in this subforum. Currently, my processor is running at its stock speed, and the problem has not gone away.

Please, for the love of all that is holy, help me out here. This has been happening multiple times a day for a week, and it's going to drive me nuts.

You're and your are not the same. Neither are their, there, and they're. Defiantly and Definitely are definitely not the same. Definately and Rediculous are not words, and you should feel bad for misspelling them. If English is your first language, you don't have a learning disorder, and you get any of these wrong, you are making the entire forum slightly dumber by doing so. Please take the extra three seconds to type properly, and have a nice day.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Something else I can check? Do I just need to give up and bring it in to support? Anything?
