Origin games wont load after update....

Go to solution Solved by dev893,

I did not help :( Well I think that i just need to wait that ea will fix it. :)

not sure if it'll work for you but for me I just turned off Origin in game and then repaired BF3 and it works fine now just thought I'd let you know

So yeah, i cant play any games, every origin game is installed in my F drive, but now origin puts C drive load to 100% and loading a game never completes... Do i just point fingers at EA, or can i fix this somehow?

Have you tried the "Reload my games" option, also does this happen on every single game? And when you say "loading a game never completes" do you mean that it starts the application, or does it even detect the existence of it.

Spoiler

Case Bitfenix Ghost, Mobo Asus Maximus VIII Ranger, CPU i7 6700K @4.2 Ghz cooled by Arctic cooling Freezer i30, (barely). GPU Nvidia GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 @1519Mhz core, RAM 16Gb Crucial Ballistix CL16 @2400Mhz. SSD 128GB Sandisk Ultra Plus as my OS drive. HDD's  1TB  Seagate ST31000524AS its OEM, 3TB Seagate Barracuda, 2x 500GB WDC Blue (RAID 0)

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.

Try reinstalling origin. It can help more times that you'd expect.

I did try to install it again, did not help :(

Yeah, it opens a game, the i get around 2 FPS on loading screen, then it just makes my C drive to run at 100% and games never load. Also task manager shows that it wont use that much drive as it uses.

Have you tried repairing the game(s) themselves, also you may have to re-install the game(s).

I know this i s a long shot, but go into origins settings and switch the installation library to the one on your F drive. Personally this hasn't caused problems to me but the update could have caused something of the sort.

Get there by going to "Origin" (top left), application settings > advanced.

EA has a habit of screwing stuff up that works perfectly fine :/ I was playing BF3 just fine on ultra settings yesterday and then after update I can't even play it at low settings so you aren't alone
