Comp not picking up sound

Hi, been having an issue recently. When I plug in my microphone to the rear port on my motherboard, it doesn't seem to be recognised. The only option I seem to have when choosing what mic to use is Stereo mix, but that doesn't give out any sound. I've tried installing drivers, however that has not helped the issue. Additionally, when plugging my Mic into another PC, it works fine, so must be to do with my PC. Thanks for your help in advance.

Try going into control panel, change view to large icons and click on sound, go to recording and change the default device.

Try going into control panel, change view to large icons and click on sound, go to recording and change the default device.

I've tried doing that, but it doesn't allow me to change to any other icons. The only option is Realtek High Definiton

Ok, try Right mouse click below your microphone and click show disabled devices.
