Why don't you tell us what your current motherboard is before we recommend anything.

Check your Mic properties. There's usually an option to turn on noise suppression. Should get rid of some of the hiss but you may have to up the volume.
I actually had to turn off my NS, the mic was plenty loud enough and clear that I could run it without any effects on and still sound great.

Tried the noise gate and noise reduction in the realtek manager, sounded the same.
