Difference between Mid and Full Tower

The Arc XL is a full tower, not a mid tower.

If you check their website it's listed under mid-tower same with pc part picker.

Only thing I see on Fractal's website about the type of case it is, is in the case's own description: "The Arc XL brings forth a balanced combination of airflow, water-cooling and high-performance component configurability in a minimalistic and sleek full-tower form."

 

So PCPartPicker is wrong. Even Newegg has it listed as a full tower.
