Ultrafast 1ms vs IPS

I'm planning to get a 27 inch monitor and ended up with 2 choices:

 

ASUS VS278Q-P

   Ultrafast 1ms

 

and

 

ASUS MX279H

   5 ms

but

   IPS

   Bang & Olufsen powered audio

 

My usage: Gaming, Watching movies, Office work

You may not notice the difference in response time. I'd go with the IPS panel. That visual quality is so nice...

If you are saying you can see the difference between 5MS lag and 1MS lag you must be some sort of superhuman. Remember that you get more lag than that from your mouse. defos go for IPS.

For watching movies there is nothing like an IPS.

IPS you may no tell the difference and it won't benefit you unless you're a hardcore gamer. IPS will also benefit you in more ways than once since you also watch movies and videos I reckon.

Pixel response time is unrelated to lag, it is related to motion blur.
