Problem with ASUS USB-N53

After buying and using the N53 for about 2.5 weeks now, I have notice a problem from the start, during gaming I would get this rubberbanding and high ping spikes in every online shooter from, CSGO, BF3 and BF4. This really gets annoying.In the past I used the Mpcie combo II for my wifi and had no problems what so ever, it was even faster than the N53 and with a better signal. I'm unable to use it as it gets in the way with my water cooling parts in my system. Is it because the Mpcie combo II is AC which is giving me a better signal, speed and is more stable? My router is a V1000H, Using Windows 8.1 64Bit. At the monent I am unable to use Wired internet..

 

Any help?

Before I used Ethernet, I used a USB N13b1. On my 100mbps connection, I was getting 33mbps and my ping would sometimes go from 30-50 to 300, and then back down. Not to mention, I had lots of microstuttering.

 

The problem for me was, I always played during the day, when everyone else was using the internet. Netflix was on downstairs, my (soon to be) stepbrother was probably playing LoL, my sister was probably doing whatever online, and it really slowed me down. I usually play later now, and I get a much better connection. Check what else is on and using up bandwidth in the house. It may not be the USB itself, just the connection you're getting.

 

Also, do you have proper drivers? I know to get mine to work on Windows 7 when I first got it, I had to do some stuff in the registry...

I don't think using it depending on the time matters. Both the N53 and Mpcie combo II I used after school, just the n53 gives me problems... No one is downloading when I play or watching TV. The N53 drivers were a bit harder to install, I went into device manager and updated it from there.
