I thought i share this latest news from Adobe and what are your thoughs on the matter, is it a good idea or a bad one.

My thoughts are its not gonna be good Iv been reading around and people are saying its gonna stop piracy which to me is a silly notion.  Now I could never justify spending several hundred of euros/dollors on software unless I truly needed it so I guess the monthly subscription is a bonus but concidering there are other free software on the web i.e GIMP I feel people will end up using them more often.

Another thought is if you buy PS for €760 a once off payment and you get to keep it for as long as you want while you pay almost the same on subscription but at the end of the cycle you dont actually own the software you just so willing payed for and to continue using the software even though you payed the same amount you have to pay more?? This seems like robbery to me

There are a few post about this same topics, anyways, I think that it would be cool if they support some high end features on the cloud, so with a good enough internet conection you woudnt be needing a beast of a machine.

Sounds like another way for Adobe to everyone off. Whichever moron decides that they need to release a new version every 6 months and charge hundreds of dollars for it needs to be shot.

I want Photoshop and Illustrator on my computer, Im not interested in sharing, facebooking, and multi-devicing, clouding and all the rest of that nonsense.

I hate Adobe nearly as much as EA, and thats a bold statement.

I much rather if Adobe did a major update every year for a small sum like $50 or something like that but they had to be greedy.  Now im all for cloud solutions to some level but my gripe is still after paying for the use of the software for months and months its still not yours to do as you please.
