Logitech G430 disable surround problem.

Got my very first headset that is not a giveaway.

After unboxing it and plugging it in, I immediately noticed a problem. If the Surround mode is disabled I only hear on my right ear and a seriously low volume sound from the left. If Surround is enabled, everything works fine though so it couldn't be a hardware problem.

Anyone know how to properly configure a G430 for optimal experience?

Yeah, works just fine but I would have liked it if I didn't have to plug and unplug my headset from the audio jack to the USB sound card every time I need to use Surround.

I just don't have the problem with my g430s maybe reinstall the driver or try another usb port

Found a fix on my problem:
 

1. Open Control Panel and open 'Sound'

2. Select the G430 device > Configure

3. Select the Audio Channel, mine is 7.1 surround. > Next

4. Uncheck / Untick 'Side Pair' and 'Rear Pair' > Next

5. On Full-range speakers ensure that only 'Front Left and Right' is ticked > Finish

6. Restart the Application or Reload the program

Those are settings for multiple drivers/speakers - are you sure you're using virtual surround and not something else?
