eBay Affiliate Help

Well, I'm not sure if this is in the right place, pleace correct me if it isn't.

 

 So I've been reading a lot about the eBay affilaite program and I decided I wanted to join. I understand the part about getting traffic and clicking links, blah blah blah. What I don't get is this: do I use a Niche Affiliate site maker, like EZ Affiliate Website Builder and BANS, or do I create a website with regular software. I want to make a PC site about hardware reviews and stuff. Thanks!
