Need a case for a gaming rig. I was going to get a full tower, but all I really need is a case that can fit a Noctua NH-D15. With the fan, it is 165mm tall, and the maximum height for a cpu cooler in the 1100 is 170mm, is 5mm a good distance between the height of the cooler and the maximum height? Or should I stick with a full tower case (phanteks enthoo pro).

If it actually fits it doesn't really matter tbh. The fans blow sideways anyway and you're not obstructing airflow or anything else by having the cooler really close to the panel. My only concern would be that either the case manufacturer or Noctua are slightly off with their measurements and that it doesn't actually fit.
