Hi guys,

I have a Dell Poweredge 1950 1U server that I picked up for like $100 (Two intel Xeon X5460 processors, pretty amazing) and I was wondering what it would take to make it into a home server that runs pretty quiet. Obviously since it was in a database they can be as loud as they want, so to overcome this would it be possible to put all of the components into a pc case? like an Antec or NZXT case? Since the CPUs don't have fans attached to them I could just buy a compatible heat sink and cooler right?

Has anybody ever done this? Is it even possible?

Thanks in advance!
